RUTH “TOM” SCOTT Ruth B. “Tom” (Byers) Scott, age 90 of Toronto, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019. She was born October 20, 1928 and was raised in Stratton, OH. Ruth “Tom” was retired from the Ohio Edison Co. Sammis Plant, Stratton, OH where she was employed as a Inventory Analyst.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Scott in 1977; daughter, Carolyn Sue Rosser in 2014; brother, Walter William Byers and sister, Carol Cooper. Ruth “Tom” is survived by her daughters, Daria (Dr. Jerry) Sapp of Chicago, IL and Colleen (Herman) Groman of Las Vegas, NV. Four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
