Obituary for Ruth M. Callahan Services for Ruth M. Callahan, 99 of Chariton, will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Chariton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice/Legacy Lodge in Chariton.

Ruth passed away November 7, 2018. She is survived by her children, Jim (Margaret) Callahan and Connie (Don) Banks; 3 grandchildren: Michael (Terry) Callahan, Tim Callahan, and Courtney Banks; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Callahan; infant daughter, Patricia; grandson, Kevin Banks; and sisters: Leona Burley, Merna Burley, Jessie Burley, and Beulah Gartin.
