Ruth M. Brown, 86 of Orient, OH passed away on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019 at Mt. Carmel East, Columbus, OH.

She was born on November 7, 1932 to the late Miles and Pearle (Hite) Smith in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Ruth served in the U.S. Army and retired as a Press Operator from General Electric. Ruth attended Lord’s Fellowship Church.

Ruth is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a grandson Thomas Gorley Jr. Ruth is survived by sons Dennis (Katherine) of Orient, Nick of Groveport; daughters Dorinda (David) England of Commercial Point and Mary (Tom) Gorley of Surprise, AZ; sisters Leona Wichleman and Dorothy Willison of Eau Claire, WI; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild on the way. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thurs. Jan.

24th with Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. on Fri. Jan. 25th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with Bll Raftrey officiating.

Interment will follow at Harrison Township Cemetery in South Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Lord’s Fellowship Church, 8026 State Route 762, Orient, OH 43146.
