Ruth Stoddard was called home to a loving Heavenly Father on Thursday January 3rd 2019 in Mountain View, Wyoming. She was born on August 27th 1955 in Evanston Wyoming to Wilford and Myrtle (Hamblin) Stoddard. Ruth had one daughter Ryan, who was the absolute joy and love of her life.

Ruth grew up on a ranch in Bridger Valley where she spent her days helping her family on the ranch, playing with beloved cousins, exploring the outdoors, and babysitting many nieces and nephews. She was involved in High School athletics, drama, debate, and journalism. Ruth loved being up in the mountains, she loved to be outdoors, exploring the wilderness, and experiencing nature, Ruth had an adventurous soul.

She loved to tell a good story, listen to a friend, lend a hand where she could, and she loved to laugh out loud! Ruth had a big heart with strong desires and big dreams. She enjoyed reading, singing along with Janice Joplin, and making her famous fudge.

Ruth will always be remembered for her compassion; she loved everybody! She was a friend to all. Ruth had the beautiful ability to see the good in all people.

She was a loyal friend, a loving sister, and above all a mother who loved beyond measure. She is survived by her daughter Ryan (Quinn) Wiperi, 3 grandchildren Kaea, Makai, and Tai. Three sisters Louise (Vernon) Stringer, Coralie Bradshaw, Elaine Clark, and two brothers Bob (Christine) Stoddard, and Lee (Valynne) Stoddard.

Numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Wilford and Myrtle (Hamblin) Stoddard and sister Lois (Harold) Skillin. Funeral service will be held Wednesday January 9th 2019 at 12:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Chapel on 4th street in Mountain View, Wyoming.
