Obituary of Ruth Clark Ruth Clark, age 97 passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at her home in Idabel, OK. She was born on December 13, 1921 in Abtsgmund Germany, the daughter of Paul and Emma Schnell Schnez. Ruth worked for the Postal System in Germany as a Bi-Lingual Switch Board Supervisor and through her job met her future husband Adrian who was serving in Germany in the US Army Signal Corp.

They relocated to Idabel in 1956. Ruth worked many years for the First State Bank in Idabel. Ruth was an accomplished homemaker and an award winning baker.

She enjoyed gardening and swimming. Ruth would swim laps in her pond daily from March to October. She was a longtime member of the St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adrian Grant Clark; daughter, Ruth Irene Clark Kanick; a son, Edwin Clark; several sisters and brothers. Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charlie Clark and Amber of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Christince Amanda Fox, Charles Clark II and Jessica, Benjamin Clark, Daniel Clark and Bethany Clark; great-grandchildren, Eden Clark, Charles Clark III, Lincoln Clark and Laurel Fox; many other relatives and friends. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Idabel, OK.

Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery.
