OBITUARY Ryan Bernard Vitrano January 17, 1980 – September 8, 2018 Ryan Bernard Vitrano passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 while surrounded by his family after a yearlong courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Ashley Vitrano for 15 years. Loving and devoted father of Sophia Kate Vitrano and Olivia Mary Vitrano.

Son of John Vitrano and Charlene Gange Vitrano. Son-in-law of Roxane Dier. Grandson of Bernard Vitrano (the late Bena) and the late Joe and Mary Gange.

Brother of Chris Vitrano (Cassie) and Jon Vitrano. Brother-in-law of Brittney Guerra (Frank) and Kelly Dier (Haley). Proud uncle and affectionately known as “RyRy” to Hailey Vitrano, Shelby Vitrano, Aubrey Guerra, Finn Guerra, Collin Guerra, Kacie Guerra, Addison Dier, Jett Dier and Quinn Dier.

Also survived and fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ryan was born on January 17, 1980 in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. He was a member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union No.

60. Ryan was an avid sportsman; he loved the outdoors and had a passion for fishing. He enjoyed playing darts with family and especially loved being a dad.

He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and found great comfort in his strong faith. He will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 AM.

Inurnment will be private.
