Obituary for Sadie Opal Hollaway Sadie Opal Hollaway, 95 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died on September 23, 2018 at her home. Sadie was born on August 4, 1923 in Dabney, Arkansas, to William Edgar “Ed” Beverage and Mattie Bell Franklin Beverage. She married Ulas Hollaway on July 20, 1940 in Yuma, Arizona.

Sadie was a daycare operator for many years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Siloam Springs. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ulas; son, Billy Ray; daughter, Darlene Eaves; granddaughter, Teresa Pierce; two sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by daughter, Joan Stalnaker of Neosho, Missouri; son, Bob Hollaway of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; brother, Paul Beverage of Kingsland, Arkansas; three sisters, Elda Mae Allen of Siloam Springs, Ruby Hickerson of Louisville, Kentucky, and Wanda Goodman of Wright, Oklahoma; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at First Christian Church, Siloam Springs, with Pastor Joel Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Arkansas.
