Doris Ann Watkins Price, 78, of Jena, Louisiana, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Doris was born on March 30, 1940 in Lincoln, Illinois, the daughter of Preston Alvin Taylor and Pauline Marine Sapps Taylor. Doris was raised in the Hardy area and graduated from Hardy High School.

She married Vernon Watkins who preceded her in death and then married her current husband, Louis Price. She worked for the Tyson Company for 24 years in Northwest Arkansas. She liked to crochet, loved country music and had an extensive record collection.

Doris was a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Louis Price of Jena, LA; four brothers, Jerry Taylor of Van Buren, AR, John Taylor of Hardy, AR, Leonard Taylor of Flippin, AR and Walter Taylor of Stanhope, IA. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00am at the Baker Cemetery near Hardy, AR.
