Obituary for N. Sue Hurt N. Sue Hurt, 83, of Colcord, Oklahoma, died September 11, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Born December 4, 1934, in Gravette, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Charles Alvin Cartwright and Marjorie Lucille Foster Cartwright. Sue and Glen Hurt were married July 5, 1952.

She was a homemaker, farmer and member of Colcord Church of Christ, Colcord, Oklahoma. Sue was preceded in death by her father, mother, step father Harry Amos and husband. Survivor include sons Gerald Hurt of Colcord, Oklahoma, Derald Hurt and wife Linda of Jay, Oklahoma; daughter Glenda Sue Dowd and husband Tom of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren Angela Hurt Gordon, Aaron Hurt, Stacey Leatherwood and Billy Dowd; and seven great grandchildren; sisters Julie Williams of Colorado, Cheryl Belleno of Montana, Irene Bishop of Oklahoma, Billie McClain of Missouri and Nancy Waller of Missouri; brothers Butch Cartwright of Hawaii, Kenneth Cartwright of Oregon and Gene Amos of Oklahoma.
