Obituary for Sam B. Todd Samuel B. Todd, 77 of Muskogee, passed away early Thursday morning, April 12, 2018. He was born October 6, 1940 to Millard and Grace (Ivy) Todd in Mountainburg, AR. He grew up and began attending the public schools in Arkansas before the family moved to Stillwater, OK in 1949, where he graduated with the class of 1959.

Shortly after graduation, Sam enlisted with a lifelong friend, Jerry Handy, in the United States Navy. They were stationed on the USS Ranger and later received an Honorable Discharge. Upon arriving back home from the Navy, Sam embarked on a career with the Pepsi Cola Company.

He worked over 35 years with them, retiring in 1995 as a Branch Manager. In June of 1999, Sam opened Arrowhead Vending; it is still in existence today and operated by members of his family. On January 17, 1981, Sam married his best friend, Sandra Kay McCluskey, in Stillwater, OK.

Together they have shared over 37 years of life and happy marriage together. His interests and hobbies includes watching OU Football, OKC Thunder Basketball, baseball and going to the horse races. His family remembers him as very loyal and genuine.

Sam is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sandra of the home; his sons, Kenny Todd and wife Marsha of Guthrie, and David Todd of Tulsa; grandchildren, Jack and Kenzi Todd of Guthrie, Caitlin Todd of Texas; great grandchild, Madison Todd; sisters, Bonnie Kolb of Texas and Vivian Todd of Stillwater; other family members and many friends. A celebration of Sam’s life will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Steve Moss officiating.

In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorials be made to the Porta Caeli House, 2440 S. Harvard, Tulsa, OK 74158 in Sam’s honor.
