Obituary for Larry G. Fuller Larry Glenn Fuller 1944 – 2018 Larry G. Fuller, 73, of Muskogee, Oklahoma went home to be with the Lord on April 4th, 2018 surrounded by many friends, family and loved ones. Larry was born on June 10, 1944 in Muskogee County, Oklahoma to R.C. “Peck” and Edith Fuller. He grew up in South Muskogee County.
He attended Oktaha High School graduating in 1962. He married Nancy Christene Moore on September 26, 1964. Larry and Christene were happily married for over 50 years.
Larry enjoyed working in several industries, spending many years with Henderson Coffee, Sysco Foods and his most rewarding position as Maintenance Custodial Supervisor at Oktaha Public Schools. He enjoyed spending time on his land working with horses, cattle and pigs. Larry loved going to sporting events, especially those with his kids and grandkids.
Larry was a member of Keefeton Trinity Baptist Church for many years where he taught Sunday school and occasionally stepped in as song leader. Most of all he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, friends and loved ones. Larry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Christene; his parents, R.C. “Peck” and Edith Fuller; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Loyd and Bea Moore; brothers, Danny and Harold “Pee Wee” Fuller; brother-in-law, Jim Hollis; sisters-in-law, Paulette Moore and Glenda Fuller; niece, Karen Sue Fuller and nephew, Devin Moore.
Larry is survived by his son, Darrell and wife Sharon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; daughter, Nancy King and husband Mike of Muskogee, Oklahoma; daughter, Sarah Huffman and husband Wes of Bixby, Oklahoma; son, Ronnie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son, Jerry and wife Tralina of Las Vegas, Nevada; a very special sister-in-law, Deborah Moore of Brentwood Extended Care of Muskogee, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jacob Glenn Fuller, Hannah Louise Fuller, Sarah Christene Fuller, Elizabeth Lynna Seabolt, Ella Grace King, Jasmyn Fuller, Jaydn Fuller; sister, Judy Hollis of Muskogee, OK; brother, Farrell “Tuffy” Fuller and wife Carolyn of Westville, OK; brother, Rudy Fuller and wife Betina of Muskogee, OK; sister-in-law, Shirley Fuller of Childress, TX; sister-in-law, Gail Fuller of Muskogee, OK; brothers-in-law, Gary Moore and wife Peggy of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Larry Moore and wife Patsy of Muskogee, Oklahoma; close neighbors, Janet and Callie Barnes along with many nieces, nephews and other friends and extended family members. The family will receive friends Monday April 9th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Muskogee, OK. Funeral services are planned for 10:30 AM, Tuesday April 10th, 2018 at the Jimmy R Eller Gymnasium at Oktaha School with Pastor James Taylor and Rev.
Cardell Coppin officiating. Interment will follow at McLain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Special Olympics or St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
