Samuel Lee Ryals, 66, of Olney passed away on March 15, 2019 in Olney. Samuel was born on June 7, 1952 in Richland Co., IL to parents Victor and Sarah Pauline (Runyon) Ryals Sam lived for many years near the Gulf of Mexico and enjoyed the ocean. He took pleasure in visiting and spending time with family.

He especially enjoyed visiting Arkansas where he was raised and had a lot of family. Sam was a good man and had a strong religious faith. He was a US Navy Veteran.

He also had an interest in history books as well as reading the old classics. Survived by Sister, Patricia Meador Hogan and husband Earl Hogan of Mena, AR; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
