Samuel Ray Hunt 20, of 2411 Odum Rd Lumberton, NC was born on March 15, 1998. He was a wonderful son, brother, boyfriend, and friend to all he met in life. His bubbly personality impacted a lot of peoples lives.

His smile was contagious and he was always willing to help anyone in life. He is best known for Sam the Man and oh, how he was the man in life. On Monday May 28, 2018 at 6:28pm he gained his wings surrounded by love ones.

He is preceded in death by his brother Emanuel Hunt, grandmother, Ms. Brenda Collins “Momma”, and grandfather Ted Hunt. Samuel is survived by his parents Timmy (Wanda) Hunt of Lumberton, NC; Christine (RT) Oxendine of Lumberton, NC; grandfather Harold Collins of Red Springs, NC; grandmother Judy Hunt of Spartanburg, SC; grandmother Wilma Lee Hunt of Dallas, NC; Six sisters Hannah Hunt of Red Springs, NC; Tabitha Hunt, Brittany Oxendine , Samantha Thomas, Holly Collins of Lumberton, NC; Victoria Harrell of Pembroke, NC; one brother Lee Thomas of Lumberton, NC; His beloved girlfriend Makayla Collins of Red Springs, NC; and a host of relatives and friends.
