Obituary for Samuel (Sam) Neil Rogers Sam N. Rogers, 74, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born February 18, 1944, in Lake City, SC, he was the son of the late Neil and Betty Singletary Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a retired transportation manager with Flower’s Bakery and was a member of Lone Oak Masonic Lodge #372 and Powell Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Sandy Rogers; children, Samantha Rogers Myott of the home, Suzanne Rogers Burgess (Jimmy) of Salisbury, NC and Sammy Rogers II of Landrum, SC; grandchildren, Shelley Burgess, Allie Wagner, Madeline Myott and Christopher Myott; brothers, Larry Rogers and Mike Rogers (Cathy) and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Tom Rogers. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Monday, July 16, 2018, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307.

Graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd. , Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Pastor Bruce Tjelta. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, PO Drawer 2909, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
