Obituary for Sandra Ann Menkin Edison, NJ – Sandra Ann (Kolski) Menkin, 75, passed away on January 5, 2019 at AristaCare at Cedar Oaks in South Plainfield. Born in Newark to the late Anthony and Ethel (Weed) Kolski, Sandra grew up in Hillside and has been a resident of Edison since 1988. She was a waitress at the Plainfield Country Club and enjoyed time spent in the kitchen cooking and baking for her family.
Sandra liked to play bingo and gamble, was always the life of the party and thoroughly enjoyed her family; especially the time spent with her grandson and cousins. Predeceased by her brothers David and Gary, Sandra leaves behind her sons; Richard (Lourdes) of Union and Michael (Melissa) of South Plainfield, siblings; Karen Holden of Washington State, Anthony Kolski of Florida, grandson Michael, Jr and three nieces; Lauren, Melissa Alexandria and Jessica Kolski. Visitation will be held in the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 beginning at 9:30 am.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in the funeral home at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
