Sandra Kay Chapman Ponder age 53 of Smithville, passed away Sunday evening February 17, 2019 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. She was born February 19, 1965 to her parents, the late Buster and Gloria Fish Chapman. She was a member of People’s Pentecostal Church and worked at Federal Mogul.

Survivors include 2 sisters, Tammy Dyer of Smithville and Eva Dover of Smithville; 3 brothers, Josh (Taylor) Chapman of Smithville, Danny (Cindy) Tatrow of Chattanooga and Rod (Lana) Tatrow of Sevierville; mother, Mary (Jay) Young of Smithville; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Deanna Boyd. Funeral services will be 1:PM Thursday, February 21, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Thomas Hewell and Graden Kirksey officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4:PM until 8:PM and Thursday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
