Rhinebeck – Sandra P. Gay, 77, passed away at the Golden Hill Nursing Home on October 27, 2018. Born in Kingsport, Tennessee, on March 17, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Gertrude Brewer. On January 16, 1960, she married William R. Gay, a lifetime resident of Rhinebeck.

Mr. Gay predeceased her in 2017. She worked for several years at the Rhinebeck Sports Shop while raising her family. Mrs. Gay is survived by her sons, Robert Wallace (Karen) Gay of White Marsh Virginia and John Taylor (Berne Bendel) Gay of Germantown; granddaughters Sarah and Heather; grandson James Peirson; and great grandsons Lucas and Owen as well as siblings, Janie, JoAnne, Richard, Karen, Eleanor, Joyce and W. Ross Brewer.

There are no calling hours. Private services and burial in Rhinebeck Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
