Sandra “Sandy” L. Lang, 61 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018. She was born May 16, 1957 in Gary, the daughter of Emil and Juanita (Brinson) Koehler. On August 8, 1998, in Valparaiso, she married Jamie L. Lang, who survives in Valparaiso.

Also surviving are her children, Nicole (Chuck) Williams and Chris (Jenni) Knight all of Valparaiso, 6 grandchildren, Jonathan, Reagan, Luke, Evagrace, Brantley and Rylan and 6 siblings, Vicki (Bill) Marlowe of Portage, Judy Taylor of AZ. Bob (Linda) Koehler of Valparaiso, Sue (Kennie) Rohrer of Westville and Cindy (Ron) Knight of AZ. Her parents and a brother Dewey Koehler preceded her in death.

Sandy enjoyed reading, knitting, antiquing, porching with her sister, and most of all her grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2018, 1-5 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM Friday, Kennie Rohrer officiating.
