Sandra Heath Rich, 70, of Owensboro died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Sandy was born in Newark, Ohio on September 25, 1948 to the late William Alton Heath and Eva Merle Taylor Heath. She was the retired Director of Lighthouse Recovery Services.

“Miss Sandy” dedicated her life to recovery and helping others to achieve their recovery goals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Heath; and an infant daughter, Tina Hardesty. Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly Hartz and her husband, Robert; Eva Lindsay and her husband, James; five grandchildren, Coleman and his wife, Kayla, James and his wife, Lindsey, Taylor, Doyle and his wife, Ashley, and James; and three great-granddaughters, Sara, Addalyn, and Sutton.

A time of sharing will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00am until 2:00pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Lighthouse Recovery Services, 731 Hall Street, Owensboro, KY 42303.
