Sanford “Sandy” Gibson, 87, died May 28, 2019 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Mr. Gibson was born in Kankakee, Illinois and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida. Sandy was a feed & grain merchant.

He graduated from Purdue University, was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Shrine Club. After retirement, he volunteered at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his daughters, Mary Jeanne Wilson of Fort Pierce, FL, Caroline “Carrie” Franklin of Fort Pierce, FL; granddaughter, Morgan Marie Breeden and husband, Christopher Breeden of Clarksburg, WV; and great-granddaughter, Audrey J. Breeden.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne P. Gibson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Cattlemen’s Association www. floridacattlemen.org/ or to the St. Lucie Shrine Club, 4600 Oleander Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
