Santiago “Jimmy” Martinez, of Loraine, passed away on September 21, 2018 in San Angelo, TX. Jimmy was born in Loraine to Lorenza Reyes & Selestino Martinez on February 16, 1945. He married Petra Sias on November 23, 2013 in San Angelo, TX.

He loved watching Dallas Cowboy football, keeping his yard and gardening, planting his roses and flowers. He worked at ASCO. He is preceded in death by son, Paul Martinez and brothers; Juan, Roberto and Ruben Arellano and sister, Julia Chavarria.

He is survived by wife, Petra Sias, his children; Jimmy Martinez, Connie Rosado, Paula Briones, Ben Martinez, Rosie Sulliban, Selestino Martinez and Elizabeth Kelly. Siblings are Mary Galvan, Gloria (Gregorio) Rodriguez, Tony E. (Darla) Chavarria, Johnny E. (Jackie) Chavarria, Jesse (Eva) Echavarria, Pete (Elizabeth) Echavarria, Tommy Echavarria, Lile Echavarria, Canuto Arellano, Ramon Arellano, Carolina Arellano, Linda Ramirez, Mary Helen Sanchez, Manuel Arellano and Ricky Arellano and his six step children; Norma Flores, Gloria Garcia, Rose Rangel, Lucy Gutierrez, Dalia Cifuentes and Juan Sias Jr. and favorite step grandchild, Luis Gutierrez and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be 1:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with rosary being recited at 6:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Monday, September 24, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Bala Anthony Govindu officiating.

Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.
