Sara Jane Dickson Thomas July 10, 1949 – December 28, 2018 Sara Jane Dickson Thomas, 69 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at OSU Wexner Medical Center. She had been employed as purchasing agent for AEP and later retired from JCPenney as a senior detail assistant. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church, loved her crafts, being an artist and her sewing.

She made clothing for disabled veterans. Sara is survived by her husband of 15 years, Roger L. Thomas; son, Dean E. (Karen L.) Boucher of Lancaster, Ohio; daughter, Tracy R. (Troy) Jackson of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Dean A. Boucher, Jordan M. Todd, Felicia R. Azbell, Ryan Jackson, Rachel Danison and Kristen Faherty; great grandchildren, Ashlee Boucher, Aralyn Danison, Mercer Haberkamp, Nylis Haberkamp, Bentley Azbell, Walker Azbell, and Theo Jackson; mother, Dorothy Dickson of Lancaster, Ohio; brothers, Richard (Marcia) Dickson, Jr. of Lancaster, Ohio and Timothy (Emily) Dickson of Round Hill, Virginia; sisters, Carolyn (Tim) Schneider, Patricia (Mark) Widener and Kathryn “Kate” (Robert) Badgeley of Millersport, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard F. Dickson, Sr. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST.

, LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Roger Quay officiating. Caring Cremation(r) has taken place.
