Sara L. Lloyd, 95, Davidsville, died January 13, 2019 at Laurel View Care Center. Born March 30, 1923 in Johnstown, daughter of William H. and Bessie (Baumgardner) Lane. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William; brothers, William and Rodney; and sister, Blodwyn Hossler.

Survived by daughters, Nancy Machtley (John Runhaar), Bocha Raton, FL; and Cindy (Thomas Hayostek), Coraopolis. Also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church, where she participated in Ruth’s Circle, and Believers Sunday School Class.

Friends received from 2 until 4pm Friday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. A Celebration of Sara’s Life will be held Saturday at 3pm at Laurel View Village. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to Laurel View Village Care Fund.
