Obituary for Sarah Ruth Poe Sarah R. Poe, age 88 of White Pine, formally of Dandridge, passed away at the home of her niece Patricia Poe Boyd on Saturday, July 21, 2018. She was retired from Standard Knitting Mills and a lifelong member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Dandridge.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Buford Poe, brother, J.P. Poe, sisters, Imogene Russell and Mildred Poe Kyte and niece, Kay Noonkesser. Survivors include her sisters, Kathleen Poe and Betty Poe Franklin, nieces and nephews: Pat (Ronnie) Boyd, Steve (Linda) Kyte, Daryl Kyte, Kellie (Mark) Strange, Jama Franklin and James (Natosha) Franklin, great-nieces and nephews: Angie Boyd (Kelly) Keck, Lisa Noonkesser (Johnny) Jennings, Lance Noonkesser, Jordan Strange and Kaitlyn Strange, great-great-nieces and nephews: Josh Keck, Sidney Keck, Jonathan Jennings and Jarred Jennings also several other family members. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, with the Rev.

Darrell Chambers officiating, family will receive friends from 4-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, 11:00am at Hillcrest Cemetery, family and friends will gather at 10:45am in the cemetery for the service.
