Obituary for Mamie C Hughes Mamie C. Hughes, age 98 of Dandridge passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Ollie Derrick Bush, husband, Ponder Hughes; son, Bill Hughes; and brothers, James and Shannon Bush. She is survived by her son, Johnny (Wanda) Hughes of Dandridge; daughter, Brenda (Raymond) Donahue of Knoxville; sisters, Jane Garing of Alabama and Zola Ketner of Jefferson City; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held, Sunday, September 16, 2018, 2:00pm at Hills Union Cemetery with Rev. John Clark officiating. Calling hours will be from 12:00 to 6:00 PM Saturday at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge.

Family visitation only will be from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Wendy Donahue, Jennifer Hightower, Shannon Donahue, Robin Hughes, Doug Hughes, and great grandchild Jesse Hughes. The family wants to send a special thank you to the employees of Franklin Cottage and Smoky Mountain Hospice for the love and care they showed Mamie.
