Sarkis Stepanian was born on October 20, 1952 in Yerevan Armenia, he was the son of Stepan Stepanyan and Sokhak Stepanyan, brother of Tsovinar Stepanyan. Sarkis graduated from the state University of Yerevan and then attended USSR army which he had a Capitan ranking. He then worked as a mathematician.

Then in 1985 he met his wife Gohar in Armenia and shortly after moved to United States (Philadelphia). They have two sons, Vartan and Hrant. Sarkis then started a small auto body shop which he operated for about 17 years.

After that, he moved out to Las Vegas and invested in real estate and worked until Sarkis was diagnosed with this dreadful disease which took him from his family. Some of his hobbies included chess, poker and watching soccer. He had a very humorous and positive personality and brightened the room when he walked in.

He will be truly missed by all.
