Saundra Kay Clarkson, of Charlotte died Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born December 22, 1944 in Charlotte to the late James and Edith Shumate. Saundra is survived by her husband of 47 years Clifford Clarkson; five children Richard (Dee) Gilbert, Adrian (Christine Jordan) Clarkson, Jimmy (Laura) Clarkson, Tina (Stacy Cook) Clarkson and Miranda (James) Reichert; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Louise Cafeo, Elaine Bradshaw and Janis Shumate.

Saundra always had a twinkle in her eye especially as she was getting ready to say something witty. Funeral services for Saundra will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:00am at J.B. Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 N. Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte.
