Scott A. Wilson, 53, of Sandusky, passed away in his home, surrounded by his loving family late Tuesday night, October 9, 2018. He was born on November 18, 1964 in Sandusky to Robert T. Wilson and the late Catherine M. (Weber) Wilson. A 1984 graduate of Sandusky High School, Scott went on to work as a machine operator at U.S. Tsubaki.

He also held a few other jobs throughout the years. He was a former member of the Oriole’s Club. He loved NASCAR, working in his yard, and taking care of his cars – often cleaning and detailing them multiple times a day!

He was extremely hard-working and will also be remembered for being the “neighborhood sheriff”. Scott is survived by his wife, Regina “Gina” Wilson; father, Robert T. Wilson; brothers, Robert C. (Sharon) Wilson, Thomas (Marie) Wilson, and Mark (Charlotte) Wilson; sister, Beth (Wendell) Wagnon; sister- and brother-in-law, Rhonda G. and Matthew Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine M. Wilson; sister (and her husband), Patricia A. (Jerome) Maag; and mother- and father-in-law, Grace B. Huffman Estep and Benny Ray Huffman.

Friends may call on Friday, October 12 from 4-7 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave. , Sandusky. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, with one hour of visitation prior.

Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Scott’s name to his beloved Regina, in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
