Robert P. Fisher, 93, Sandusky, died Saturday, November 24, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Sandusky on August 18, 1925, to the late Paul and Leah (Leibenthal) Fisher. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in WWII.

He was employed and retired from the former Elmer Borchardt Trucking Co, Castalia for 37 years. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Sandusky, and the American Legion Post 83, Sandusky.

Robert is survived by his children, Matilda McCleese, Bellevue, Karen Nadasky, Norwalk, Bobby Fisher, Sandusky, and Calvin Baker, Fostoria; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Vivian Fisher; daughter, Deborah Jensen; grandson, Brian McCleese; sister, Gladys Cunningham; and his parents. There will be no visitation.

Private family services will be held. Cremation will take place in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave. , Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s name to Cancer Services of Erie County, 505 W. Perkins Ave. , Sandusky, OH 44870. Condolences and gifts of sympathy may be made to the family by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
