Thomas T. Cromer, Sr., 53, of Sandusky, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 1st, 2018. He was born in Sandusky, Ohio, on December 17th, 1964 to the late Thomas and Mable G. (Grant) Cromer. Thomas, affectionately known to his family & friends as Tracy or Big Crome, was an avid sports fan, and a talented football player in high school.
He enjoyed music and movies as well, spending time as a young adult as a DJ and engaged movie connoisseur. He graduated from Sandusky High School in 1984, and then proceeded to go to Findlay University, in Findlay, OH. He was very active in the recovery community; he enjoyed using his story as a testimony, to help the youth of his community, and those around him struggling with addiction.
Thomas is survived by four children; Thomas T. Cromer, Jr, (Sandusky), Brittany C. Miller (Sandusky), Ariel L. Miller (Lawrenceville, GA), and Noah C. Cromer (Marion); one grandchild, Jayden D. Blockton (Sandusky); siblings, Myra R. Aaron (Grayson, GA), Troy G. (Natalie) Cromer (Buford, GA); the mothers of his children, Stephanie A. Miller (Sandusky), and S. Danielle Christy (Marion); nieces, Fonda E. (Jesse) Hughes (Winder, GA), and Abrianna M. Cromer (Buford, GA); nephews, David J. Aaron (Sandusky), Alon T. Aaron (Lorain), and Terrence V. Cromer (Sandusky), great-nieces, De’Asha L. Green (Winder, GA), Jordyn Hughes (Winder, GA), Kayla Aaron (Perrysburg), Aniyah J. Cromer (Sandusky), and Arianna D. Cromer (Sandusky); and great-nephews Daishawn Green (Winder, GA), and Kamarian Aaron (Lorain); and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death, by his parents Mable & Thomas Cromer, grandparent Rosa Pressley-Cromer, his step-grandparent, Etrue Cromer, grandfather Thomas Cromer, Sr., grandparents, Lizzy & Andrew Grant, and several aunts and uncles. The family would also like to extend a special acknowledgement to the Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Sandusky Artisans community as Tom considered this an extension of his family, and his sole community.

Curtis L. Johnson Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Thomas’s name may be made to the family.
