Sharon Crowder, 72, of East Moline, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 in Rock Island. Funeral service will be held at 6:30 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue Rock Island. Visitation will be held from 4 pm until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family. Sharon was born on December 27, 1946 in Perry, IA, the daughter of Virgil and Anna (Miles) Bailey. Before retiring, she worked for Genesis Health Group as a collections specialist.

Sharon enjoyed watching comedy movies and listening to music, especially when her children and grandchildren were performing. Her greatest joy was spending all the time she could with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sharon and her siblings loved to laugh and reminisce while sharing stories about their past.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Kevin (Christie) Rangel, Coal Valley and Troy Rangel, Moline; grandchildren, Abigaille, Victoria, and Isaiah Rangel; sisters, Trisha (Bob) Bevans, Milan, Helen Pearson and partner, Steve Timm, Moline, Connie (Ron) Garcia, Moline, and Christine Martinez, Rock Island; brothers, Gary Bailey, Rock Island and Ken “Butch” Bailey, Moline; many nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Al. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jimmy and Roger Bailey.
