Obituary for Sharon Diane Griffin Sharon Diane Griffin (1940 – 2018) Sharon “Diane” Griffin, 78 of Highland Village, TX passed away May 23, 2018 at 4 Seasons Senior Living with a free spirit and loving heart. Diane was born January 3, 1940 in Forney, Texas to Elmer Ray Burnett and Mozelle (Hazewood) Burnett. She graduated from Wylie HS in 1958.

Diane was a long-time member of the Beta Sigma Phi sisterhood and contributed many years of service to the community. Diane was a loving wife and mother with a successful career as a bank manager later in her career. She loved the outdoors and flowers and especially birds.

Diane was an avid gardener and took up professional flower arranging and painting for her creative outlets. Diane is survived by daughter Terry Lynn Kelly and her husband Mark, daughter Kelly DeLoache Burke, son Michael Trever Griffin and his wife Debbie, grandchildren Samuel Burke, Laine Griffin, and Noah Griffin; brother Billy Burnett and his wife Jo Nell, brother Earl Burnett and his wife Judy, brother Jearl Burnett, sister Virginia Matthew and many dear friends and relations Services will be Saturday July 14, 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Dalton & Son (www. daltonandson.com).
