Sharon left this world on March 10, 2019 surrounded by love. She was born in Muskegon on August 21, 1942 to Glenn and Maxine Folk. Sharon graduated from Muskegon High School in 1960 and lived in the Muskegon area her entire life.

On June 10, 1961, she married her first love Richard “Dick” Ward. Together they raised three daughters, Tami, Rhonda and Kristi and celebrated 29 years of marriage until his death on November 30, 1990. Her girls then all married within one year and she became Grandma Sharon to Karson and Travis.

God granted her a second chance at love when she married Richard “Dick” Bobian on March 28, 1998 and added his children, Rick, Mike, Chris and Becky to her family. Then came three more grandchildren, Andrew, Allyssa and finally Alex. She loved being a grandma more than anything and her grandchildren were her heart.

Dick and Sharon were married for 19 years until his death on April 25, 2017. Sharon was blessed with a third chance at love with her long-time friend, Windy Bradfield. Sharon spent the majority of her life employed as a pharmacy technician.

She worked many years at Revco Drugs and retired from Hackley Professional Pharmacy. Survivors include Tami (Rich) Strodtbeck, Rhonda (Jim) VanOss, Kristi (Kevin) Visscher, Mike (Heidi) Bobian, Chris Bobian and Becky Bobian; seven grandchildren, Karson (Jordan) Covey, Travis Caughey, Andrew and Allyssa Bobian, Alex Visscher, and Maddi and Ronni Strodtbeck; sisters, Barb (Tom) Clausen and Linda (Rod) Timmer; brother, Bruce (Pat) Folk; sister-in-law, Sherry Ward; brother-in-law, Steve Ward; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Sharon had so many great life-long friends who were with her until the end.

Thank you for loving her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dick Ward and his parents, Carlyle and Gwen Ward and her brother-in-law, Larry Ward; her husband, Dick Bobian and step-son, Rick Bobian; and her sister, Judy Folk Fielstra. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 16 at 4PM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 49444, 231-798-1100, with Kevin Pycraft officiating.
