Obituary for Sharon Sue Conner Sharon Sue Conner (Gallahan), 59 of Accokeek, MD, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 24, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer. She passed peacefully while surrounded and embraced by her three children. Sharon was born in Washington, DC on March 5, 1959 to Patricia A. and William A. Gallahan III.

She happily grew up on her family farm, Cherry Hill. Sharon’s proudest legacy is her three children and six grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

She loved music and going to concerts with her two sisters, Kelley and Colleen. Sharon is preceded in death by her sister, Patricia “Kathy” Canoles; her mother, Patricia Gallahan (Denison); and her father, William A. Gallahan III. She is survived by her daughters, Katherine N. (Michelle) Clark and Patricia (Robert) Daniels; her son, Joseph (Melanie) Conner; her grandchildren, Jocelynn, Kayla, Abigail, Audrey, Emma, and Nicholas; her siblings, Mike, Colleen, Danny, Kelley, and Sam; her lifelong friend, Carroll E. Diven, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she cherished.

The family welcomes friends to celebrate Sharon’s life at Christ Church, 600 Farmington Rd W, Accokeek, MD 20607 on December 4, 2018 from 5 to 8 PM. Services will also be held at Christ Church on December 5, 2018 at 11 AM preceding cremation. Please consider memorial contributions for Christ Church, Accokeek, MD.
