Sharon’s Obituary Sharon Yvonne Drew, 75 of Lake Dallas, Texas passed away on January 10, 2019 in Denton, Texas. She was born on June 3, 1943 in Langdon, North Dakota to John and Isabel Spenst. She was a graduate of Alsen High School.

Sharon also attended two years at the University of North Dakota (UND) in Grand Forks where she met her husband to be, who was serving in the Air Force. She married Robert A. Drew on August 24, 1963 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Sharon and her husband lived in Worcester, MA and then Warren MA.

While living in Warren Sharon participated in Cub Scouting, Girl Scouting, and the National Bicentennial. In 1981 they then relocated to Lake Dallas Texas, where they currently reside. After she retired from Bank of America, she enjoyed spending the summers in Alsen, ND with her husband and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Drew of Lake Dallas, daughter, Robin A. Young and husband Timothy of Aubrey, Texas, son, Robert A. Drew II and wife Yolanda of Lufkin, Texas, brothers, Ronald Spenst of Minneapolis, Mn. , Donald “Skip” Spenst of Langdon, N.D., Jack Loewen of Apple Valley, Mn. and four grandchildren, Kathleen Barnett, Ashley Hart, Robert A. Drew III, and Madison Drew.

In addition, Sharon has many nephews, nieces and cousins who will miss her. She is preceded in death by her father John Spenst, her stepfather Cornelius Loewen and her mother Isabel Loewen. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM.
