Obituary for Shawn Alex Parker Shawn Alex Parker, of Wylie, TX, passed away April 6, 2018, at the age of 26. He was born January 11, 1992, in Houston, TX, to Rodney Parker and Dee Hodges. Shawn was a funny guy with a great sense of humor.

A member of Lake Pointe Church, he was a loving person. Shawn had a nurturing heart and cared for others in need, such as the homeless. He enjoyed singing and never met a stranger.

Shawn touched many lives and will be remember by all who knew him. Shawn is survived by his loving mother: Dee Hodges; adoring father: Rodney Parker; sister: London Parker; grandmothers: Marguerite Vaughan and Sis Parker; grandfather: Buddy Parker; nephews: Kaiden and Hunter Parker; uncle: Billy; aunts: Brenda and Melinda: and cousins: Beth, Levi and Eli; along with a host of loving relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Gary Vaughan; and uncle: Michael Parker.

A celebration of Shawn’s life will be held 1:00pm Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location with Pastor Mason Randall officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service beginning at 12:00pm. Upcoming Events Gathering 2018 APR 14.
