Services for Shawn Derick Sapp, 51 of Dublin will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 20, 2018, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Daws and Rev.

Gerald Frazier will officiate, and burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Shawn served in the US Army for 4 years.

He was employed with Dublin Glass for over 15 years and worked his way up to head superintendent and project manager and played a big part in the success of the company. He was a member of Dudley Baptist Church and took care of his family. Shawn loved to garden and took pride in maintaining his property.

He was a quiet and reserved man. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Vann Sapp. Survivors include his mother Barbara A. Sapp of Dublin, brother Phil (Karen) Phillips of Dudley, sisters Debbie (Nick) Pileggi of Dudley and Vanessa (Tim) Carter of Madison, and numerous nieces and nephews.

His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
