Obituary for Sheena Kay Sherrill Sheena Kay (Bullard) Sherrill, age 60, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed peacefully in her home on June 12, 2018. She received her gift of Heaven after a rough battle of terminal illness. Sheena was born on August 25, 1957, to Raymond and Bobbie (Harris) Bullard in San Diego, California.

She was raised in Oklahoma attending a variety of schools, while moving around for her dad’s work. Then finished at Woodward High School, graduating in 1976. She started and continued retail business, along with owning and operating Sherrill’s Supermarket.

On January 17, 1981 she married the love of her life, Ricky (Rick) Bradford Sherrill. On July 25, 1989, they were blessed with the birth of a daughter, Carissa Nicole Sherrill. In 1991, the family moved to Enid for Rick’s work with Wonder Bread.

On December 14, 1994 the family was complete with the birth of a second daughter, Courtney Renee Sherrill. Sheena finished her career as a housekeeper in Enid for more than 21 years until retiring to be a caretaker for Rick. Sheena enjoyed bowling, watching movies, traveling, cruise trips, cooking, concerts, spending time with family and good friends, and being an outstanding and loving Nana to her three grandkids.

She was baptized in March 1973 at Crown Heights Baptist Church. She started attending the Church of Christ after her marriage. She was a member of Garriott Road Church of Christ.

She loved to serve the church by helping the Ladies Day, being in charge of Children’s Bible Hour, being in charge of VBS crafts and helping in the nursery. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rick Sherrill; mother, Bobbie Harmon; step-father, B.J. Harmon; father, Raymond Bullard; uncle, Dean Bullard; grandparents, Thomas Glenn Harris, Violet Harris, Veda (Hall) Heinson, Orville Bullard; and great-grandmother, Ada Mae Dunham. She is survived by her daughters, Carissa and Reginaldo Hernandez of Ames, Oklahoma, and Courtney and Deonte Flowers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Vickie and Jim Evans of Branson, Missouri; brother, Mike and Yulonda Merry of Woodward, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Dayon and Eddie Smith of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Randy and Diane Sherrill of Arnett, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Abbigiel Hernandez, Carter Hernandez, and Cobe Sherrill; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.

The funeral service for Sheena Sherrill will be 10:00 AM, Monday, June 18, 2018 at Garriott Road Church of Christ, with Jonathan Crowell officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 PM in Debolt Cemetery in Arnett, Oklahoma with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
