Shiela E. Rabe Boylan, 61, of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Piedmont Regional Medical Center in Columbus, GA. Shiela was born August 14, 1957 in Haven, ND to the late Norman Rabe and LaVerne Horning Rabe. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister whom loved her family deeply.

She cherished spending quality time and special moments with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, the beach, and was a huge fan of the Auburn Tigers football team. She served our country proudly and was a Veteran of the United States Army.

She was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 22 years, David Alan Boylan of Phenix City, AL, two daughters, MarLa Jones of Ashville, NC, and Nicole Brooker and husband Judson of Columbia, SC, one sister, Twila Wayne and fiancé Mark Handlan of Nashville, TN, two brothers, Kerry Rabe of Wyoming, and Kyle Rabe of Mandan, ND, (5) grandchildren, Myles Brooker, Jamie Sisk, Michael Sisk, Amy Sisk, and Will Whitehurst, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many caring friends. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm EST Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Beaver Creek Baptist Church in Phenix City with Pastor Lynn McManious officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Shiela.
