Obituary for Shirley A. Brock Mrs. Shirley A. Brock, 87, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Covered Bridge Health Campus. She was born in Sycamore, Illinois on May 28, 1931 to the late Alvin Max and Mary (Wise) Krebs; although she was raised by her foster parents, James & Minnie Gray. Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday at 10 am with Rev.

Matt Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday from 4-8 pm and Friday from 9 am until time of service.

On October 22, 1952, in Freetown at United Brethren, she married Charles A. Brock; he preceded her in death on December 19, 2007. She worked at Excello Shirt Factory for 21 years, Dollar General for 5 years, Save-A-Lot and REMC. She was a member of Ratcliff Grove Church where she played the piano for many years.

She is survived by her children, Sharon (Phillip) Allman, Rita (Fred) Chadd, Brenda (Bob) Wilson and Bonnie (John) Durbin; grandchildren, David (Amber) Chadd, Leslie (Marcus) Oglesbie, Kelle Allman, Jamey (Kim) Allman, Angela (Brad) Pritchett, Kaci (Mike) Wilson, Amber Smith and Aaron (Rachel) Smith; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Mary Lois Wise. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Alvin “Bob” Wise; and sister, Leta Anderson; Online condolences may be given on the funeral home website at www. vossfuneralservice.com.
