Obituary for Blair W. Trask Mr. Blair W. Trask, 60, of Floyds Knobs, died on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. Funeral services will be at Voss Funeral Service, Seymour, on Tuesday, November 27, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bob Franklin officiating. Visitation will be at Voss on Monday, November 26, from 2 to 8 PM and on Tuesday from 9 AM until the service.
A graveside service will be held at Cave Hill Cemetery, 2395 Grindstead Drive, Louisville, KY 40204 on Tuesday at 2:30 PM. He was born in 1958, in Louisville, to Everett and Jane (Cotton) Trask. He married Kelly Oma Anderson on May 19, 2001, at St. James Court, in Louisville, and she survives.
Blair was a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a degree in broadcasting and a minor in electronics. He was the broadcast co-owner-operator of WXKU 92. 7 and WZZB 1390/99.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, his children, Taurean (Vanessa) Trask, William Trask, and Claire Trask, his brother, Everett A. (Becky) Trask IV, sisters, Myra (Bo) Mattingly and Jane (Wayne) Meredith, Brother and sister -in-law, Jamie (Gabe) Wright and brother-in-law Tyler Anderson, mothers and fathers-in-law Max and Marla Anderson and Dave and Connie Ridgway, and grandchildren, Ashlyn, Landon, and Lauren Trask. He was a member of Living Word Baptist Church in Seymour where he was the song leader and served on various boards and committees.
He was also a past member of several broadcasting organizations including the Indiana Broadcasting Association and the Kentucky Broadcasting Association. He loved making things better and working on his cars, working with his tools, and completing projects in his barn. He broadcast every morning from 6 to 10 AM on 92.
7 FM. He knew from a young age radio would be his passion. He loved the radio business and music.
His voice was immediately recognizable in the broadcast areas his stations covered. Blair was a blessing to all that knew him. He was the most generous man and giving of whatever he could to whomever needed it.
Everyone felt like Blair was their friend from hearing him for so many years. Blair felt like his staff and clients were part of his family, too. He enjoyed traveling with his family, especially to the beach.
