Obituary for Mary P Abel Mrs. Mary Phyllis Abel, of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Lutheran Community Home. Mary was born in Johnson County on January 13, 1927; the daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy (Aaron) Kinnick. Funeral Service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday, November 5 at 10 am.

Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Sunday from 2-5 pm and Monday from 9 am until time of service. On December 2, 1949, she married George W. Abel.

Mrs. Abel was a member of the Freetown Nazarene Church. She worked at Harley Bag and the Freetown grocery in Freetown. Mary enjoyed quilting and sewing.

She loved spending time with family and friends. Mary is survived by her children, Richard D. ( Sherry) Abel, Robert M. (Barbara) Abel, Barbara J Streight, James W (Diana) Abel, and John B Abel; grandchildren, Debra Abel, Williard (Mike) Abel, Matthew J ( Kara ) Abel, Leslie (Ryan) Haddan, Rachel (John) Lee; and brother, Robert (Carla) Kinnick. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Abel; brother, Louis Kinnick; and sister, Deloris Benge.
