Obituary for Brenda K. Reese-Pennie Ms. Brenda Kay Reese-Pennie, 67, of Brownstown, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. She was born in 1951 in Seymour, to the late Kenneth and Thelma (Lynch) Johnson Sr. Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 2 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Brian Lanning officiating.

Burial will follow at Acme Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday from 4-8 pm and Wednesday from 12 Noon until time of service. She was the co-owner/operator of The Hair Crossing in Seymour.

She was a lifelong member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her son, Shawn (Traci) Johnson; grandchildren, Jake Johnson, Kayli Johnson, Jacob Paul Johnson and Isaiah Johnson; sister, Cindy (Brian) Lanning; and companion, Gary Jackson. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Kenneth W. Johnson Jr. Memorials may be written to Living Fire Ministries for Celebrate Recovery Program, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
