Shirley A. Biggers, 67 of North East, MD, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 in the Laurelwood Care Center, Elkton, MD. Born in Elkton, on May 26, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Ethel Phoebe (Church) Stewart. She was the wife of the late William Alvin “Alley” Biggers.

Shirley retired after many years of service as a cashier at Petro and Liberty Bell Truck Stops. She is survived by one son: Chucky Ewing of North East, MD; her siblings: Barbara Daniels and Eugene R. Stewart both of North East, MD; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Charles H. Stewart, Jr. and Robert H. Fields.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am. Interment follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
