Shirley C. Bush, 95, of Taylor Ridge, died Sunday, May 27, 2018 at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am on Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Andalusia. Entombment is in Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island.

Visitation is 4 to 7 pm Thursday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave. , Milan, where a Rosary will be recited at 3:30 pm. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be determined later.

Shirley C. Tacey was born Feb. 28, 1923 in Annawan, a daughter of John and Alma Catour Tacey. She married Walter R. Bush on May 4, 1942 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan.

He died Jan. 4, 1999. Shirley was a devoted homemaker providing love and support to her husband and children.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Andalusia. Shirley enjoyed bowling, square dancing, traveling, tending to her flowers and was a fan of the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Diana Bush, Taylor Ridge, Darrel and Teresa Bush, Taylor Ridge, and Bruce and Mary Bush, Oak Run; grandchildren, Paula, Jared, Samantha, Angela, Annette, Scott and Ethan; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnne Panther, Loves Park, Ill.

; and her brother, William (Carol) Tacey, Rock Island. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; daughter, Mary Beth; brothers, Jack and Vincent Tacey; and great grandson, Drake DeKeyrel. Online condolences may be left at wheelanpressly.com.
