Obituary for Shirley H. Ponthier Shirley H. Ponthier, 80, of Anthony, FL, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. Shirley was born in Dothan, AL to Charlie and Ada Harris. She moved to Ocala in 1975 from New Orleans, LA.

She was a homemaker and loved her animals and her gardening. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Bert J. Ponthier in 1975 and daughter Debbie Kline in 2018. She is survived by her children; Mark Ponthier of Anthony, FL, Chris Ponthier and Suzie of Ocklawaha, FL, Gordon and Claudia Samanie of Ocala, FL, Jerry Ponthier of Anthony, FL, Tina Proctor of Ocala, FL, and Yvette Leveritt of Fairfield, FL, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and her sister Donna Duryea.
