Shirley J. Lukomski Shirley J. Lukomski, age 85, of New Boston, Michigan, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018. Shirley was born June 16, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Walter Lukomski and Helen Genevieve “Gene” (Malinowski) Lukomski.

Shirley loved sports. She played on many softball teams in her earlier years and could be found attending the many sports events family member participated in, especially her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed music and sang in many church choirs, including Ford Motor Chorus for many years.

She also enjoyed woodworking and built items for herself and others. Shirley belonged to Huron Township Senior Center, Huron Township and loved going to the casino. She was a kind and caring person and will be missed by all who knew her.

To cherish her memory she leaves three siblings; Nancy (Tom) Hughes, Judy Santina, and Gerald (Camille) Lukomski, sister-in-law; Sandy Lukowski, thirteen nieces and nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; Walter and Gene Lukomski, and her brother; Rodney Lukomski. Friends may gather from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on, Friday, April 27, 2018, at Crane Funeral Home, 36885 Goddard Rd.

Romulus, Michigan 48174, (734) 941-9200, with a Rosary at 6:00pm. Mass will take place at 10:00am, in state at 9:00am at St. Stephen Catholic Church New Boston, MI. with Father John Hedges officiating Interment will be held at Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, MI.
