Shirley’s Obituary Shirley Jean (Spears) Simpson, 75, of Northfork, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, March 06, 2019 at the home of her son on Burke Mountain. Shirley was born on March 02, 1944 in Crumpler, West Virginia to the late Charles Spears and Edna Angle Spears. She had been a resident of McDowell County for most of her life; she co-pastored the Old Fashion Full Gospel Church.

She was the co-founder of the Streams of Life Ministries. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Irene Horton and Florence Reed and one brother Danny Bailey. Survivors include her husband Rev.

Harold Simpson of Burke Mountain, West Virginia; two sons Steven Simpson of Northfork, West Virginia and Rev. Mark Simpson of Northfork, West Virginia and one brother Albert Bailey of Bramwell, West Virginia. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 09, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Mark Simpson officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia where grandsons and nephews will be serving as pallbearers.

The Simpson family will receive friends and relative on Friday, March 08, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences will be accepted at www. cravens-shires.com.
