Shirley Mae Hacker, longtime Mustang area resident, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at her residence at the age of 79. Shirley was born December 16, 1938 in Ozark, Arkansas to John Robert and Gertie Ann (Dickerson) Hood. She married Lawrence D. Hacker on October 19, 1962 in Oklahoma City.

She worked at Katt’s Drug Store from 1958-1962 and then later began working in the banking business. She worked at Mustang Community Bank, All American Bank and later retired from Yukon National Bank in 2005. Shirley enjoyed shopping, reading and spending time with her family.

She was a loving caregiver to all. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; one daughter, Michele Andrzejewski and husband Martin; one son, Roger Hacker and wife Debbie; one granddaughter, Amanda; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Ryan; one sister, Wanda Faye Gresham and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Cletus Hood.
