Shirley’s Obituary Shirley Rae Laster was born September 19, 1929 in Leavenworth, KS to W. W. “Bill” and Frances Ellen (Burress) Langford. She married Harvey C. “Clyde” Laster on December 8, 1946 in Texarkana, TX. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2005 after 58 years of marriage.

Shirley had two sons, Bill W. Laster, who preceded her in death in 2016, and Jerry L Laster who lives in Keller, TX. Surviving Shirley are Jerry and his wife Denice and their children, Jacob and his wife Bethany, Katherine, Nicholas, Bobby, Cessily and her great granddaughter Jaylynn. Also surviving Shirley are Bill’s family, Jackie, Colin and Jeffrey and his wife Hope.

In lieu of flowers, Shirley requested donations be made in her name to either: Tree of Life Lutheran Church, 6318 Lyons Rd. , Garland, TX 75043 Or, The Activities Fund at LaDora Nursing and Rehab: LaDora Nursing and Rehab, 1960 Bedford Rd.
